Flipping Property on HGTV using San Francisco Bay Area Hard Money

It seems like there is a new house flipping show on TV everyday. Everyone thinks it is easy to make huge money in this business. Like anything in life it is not as easy as it appears and you need to get the proper training to understand the real estate markets.

The past 4 years it was easy because of the upward swing of the market but keep in mind California is notorious for market swings. I don’t have a crystal ball but because of such low inventory levels we could still have a bit of a ride left.

How long you ask?

That is the question for sure. The reality of reality TV is that you only see a small bit of what really takes place on a house flip. Managing contractors, picking out finishes, borrowing money, and keeping on budget are just some of the hurdles you need to overcome.

A trusted hard money lender can be your best friend. He or she has a real good grasp of what is going on in the market because they see deals come across their desks every day.
