In this video, hard money lender Beau Eckstein tells real estate investors how to find hard money loans from private money lenders. It's really not as hard as it sounds. In fact, it's often easier to get a hard money loan than it is to get a bank-financed traditional mortgage.

If you want to find hard money lenders, Beau instructs you to attend local real estate events, including Meetups and real estate investment clubs. Hard money is more about the relationship than it is about the balance sheet. Of course, your strong personal balance sheet goes a long way to getting a real estate deal funded, but you don't have to supply the loads of paper documentation like you would have to with a bank.
